Details

A stand of snow-dusted pines against a still winter sky. The Theo & Co. Snowy Pine Forest Pillow Cover captures the quiet edge of the woods after a fresh fall — deep green boughs weighted with snow, paler firs fading into the distance, and the faintest warmth of gold in the branches. Because there's no ornament, star, or ribbon in the artwork, this one doesn't have to come down on December 26th; it reads as Christmas through the season and simply as winter through January and February, which makes it one of the few holiday pieces that earns its keep for a quarter of the year rather than a few weeks. Rendered in muted greens and warm cream, it settles easily against a linen sofa, cream bedding, or an oak bench, layers well with sage, oatmeal, and camel, and looks beautiful on its own or in a pair alongside the solids and printed pieces in the Theo & Co. collection. Faux suede is what makes this one different: a fine, matte nap that catches light the way real suede does, giving the artwork a depth flat cotton can't hold. Softer to the touch than a woven cover and warmer to look at, it lets the snow and the deep green read with real dimension. The design is printed on the front, and a concealed zipper keeps the edges clean and uninterrupted. Cover only, which lets you choose your own insert, decide exactly how full and firm you'd like it to sit, and store it flat when the season turns.
